My name is Sarah Fletcher. I am the founder of Made to Thrive Counselling. I have my Master's of Social Work and I am a registered Social Worker with the Province of New Brunswick, since 2007. I believe that no one is meant to walk through life’s challenges alone, and it is my privilege to provide a safe, compassionate space where individuals and couples can find support, healing, and renewed hope. My counselling approach integrates evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) with a Christian perspective, offering clients practical tools while grounding our work in the timeless truths of God’s Word.
Beyond my professional life, my story is deeply shaped by faith and family. I have been married to my incredible husband since 2005, and together we have three amazing, teenage, sons who keep us active, laughing, and continually learning. I enjoy exploring the great outdoors, reading a good book, playing games with family and friends and serving in my local church.
My love for Jesus is at the heart of who I am, guiding the way I view people — as uniquely created, deeply loved, and fully capable of growth and transformation. Whether you are an individual seeking strength and clarity or a couple longing to rebuild connection and trust, my heart is to walk with you. I am driven by the words of Jesus in John 10:10 - "I have come that they may have life and have it abundantly".
At Made to Thrive Counselling, I provide in-person or online counselling sessions to individuals or couples.

I am Déborah Ibukun Adekoya, a daughter of God. I am a Ph.D. candidate, and I hold a Master of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology. I am a Licensed Counselling Therapist Candidate with the College of Counselling Therapists of New Brunswick.
Since 2014, I have provided psychosocial support and counselling to individuals in community mental health centres, churches, and hospitals. My counselling approach integrates sound Christian doctrine with therapeutic frameworks like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), which offers practical skills for daily living and flourishing.
My journey toward thriving began when I gave my life to Jesus at a young age. Shortly after my salvation experience, I could be seen carrying my Bible and teaching God's Word to anyone going through grief and difficult life transitions. After high school, I pursued higher education in psychology for 9 years. Outside of counselling sessions, I compose Bible-based songs for my local church, mentor youth, and design creative meal plans. My family of six keeps me busy as we visit and communicate across Canada, the US, and Nigeria!
As you schedule a counselling session with me, I pray God meets you right where you are in your life's journey and brings you into His full purpose for your life according to Revelation 4:11 "...for Thou hast created all things, and for Thy pleasure they are and were created."
At Made to Thrive Counselling, I provide online counselling sessions to individuals and I offer services in English, French, and Yorùbá.
